Petra Mäder

Director Marketing

Petra Mäder, Fed. Dipl. Marketing Planer, is Director of Marketing at SwissRapide AG.

After finishing her studies at a specialised high school, Petra Mäder completed an apprenticeship at Swissair as a customer service representative, after which she worked in various operational positions for Swissair and Swisscargo in Zurich and Paris.

Later she completed her studies as Fed. Dipl. Marketing Planner and worked in the marketing department for Swissair. In 1999, she took over the role as Head of Market Research and Business Analysis for the Swiss market. Petra Mäder also worked for Swiss International Air Lines in the same position.

In 2003 she moved to Chicago, where she studied English and worked in the insurance industry as a Programme Manager for captives.

In April 2010, Petra Mäder joined the SwissRapide Management Board, where she is responsible for all marketing and communication activities for the company as well as for the SwissRapide Ultra-Highspeed Maglev Rail projects worldwide.
